EPIC MARKETPLACE WEB USER PRIVACY POLICY

Your privacy is important to Epic Marketplace, Inc., an Epic Media Group company, so we have created the following Privacy Policy to let you know about our information practices when we serve advertisements on our network of websites (collectively, the "Epic Marketplace Publisher Network"), why we collect your information and how it is used. The terms "you," "your," and "yours" refer to the web surfer and/or consumer utilizing the Epic Marketplace Publisher Network. The terms "Epic Marketplace," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Epic Marketplace, Inc. and its partners.

The Epic Marketplace Publisher Network contains more than 1,000 websites to which we deliver advertisements. Epic Marketplace is a member of the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI). Below is a description of information privacy practices of the Epic Marketplace Publisher Network, Epic Marketplace and/or our third party vendors.

1. Personally Identifiable Information

Epic Marketplace does not collect PII to deliver targeted advertisements. "Personally Identifiable Information" or "PII" means any information that may be used to identify an individual, including first and last name, physical address, email address, or telephone number.

2. Non-Personally Identifiable Information

Epic Marketplace receives and records anonymous information that your browser sends whenever you visit a website which is part of the Epic Marketplace Publisher Network. As a rule, non-personally identifiable information ("Non-PII") is anonymous and is not used to identify an individual.

We use log files to collect Internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser, and responses by a web surfer to an advertisement delivered by us. Epic Marketplace uses technology, including technology from its third party advertising vendors, which includes cookies, "web beacons" and/or "action tags." A "cookie" is a small text file stored by your browser on your computer when you visit our Network. A "web beacon" or "action tag" is a small image (usually 1x1 pixel) embedded in a web page. We use cookies, web beacons and action tags to collect Non-PII data to provide better and more relevant advertisements to you. Cookies, web beacons and action tags permit us to recognize users and avoid repetitive requests for the same information in an anonymous manner.

Web surfers may elect not to provide non-personally identifiable information for the purposes of receiving targeted advertisements by following the cookie opt-out procedures set forth below. If you opt-out, Epic Marketplace will only collect limited Non-PII in connection ad serving, reporting and operational purposes.

3. Use of information

Epic Marketplace will use Non-PII for the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy. Your Non-PII may be used in order to better target advertisements across the Epic Marketplace Publisher Network, to provide reporting to advertisers and clients, to enable third party service providers to assist or facilitate in the services we provide to our clients, to improve our advertising systems and products, to comply with applicable laws and regulations or to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information received by Epic Marketplace, to enforce our terms or protect our rights or for any other purpose for which you have provided consent. We may also share Non-PII with our subsidiaries and third party partners for similar use.

Please note that the websites owned or operated by our advertisers or websites within the Epic Marketplace Publisher Network may collect other types of information from you. Epic Marketplace is not responsible for the privacy practices of websites operated by such third parties. You should check the applicable privacy policies of such websites you visit to determine how they handle any information they collect from you.

4. Retention

We retain Non-PII for a maximum of eighteen (18) months to more effectively serve you relevant advertisements. Aggregate reports generated from such data may be retained for a longer period.

5. Security

Epic Marketplace employs commercially reasonable security measures to ensure the security of all data. In addition, we comply with all applicable data security laws. Although no system is foolproof, in the event of a breach, we will comply with all applicable notification requirements required under the law.

6. Choice and Opt out

Epic Marketplace is a member of the Network Advertising Initiative and works with industry leading companies to address important privacy and consumer protection issues in online advertising. Epic Marketplace's information usage practices are based on two beliefs: first, that protecting user privacy is essential to the growth and prosperity of the Internet; second, that a personalized web experience can provide significant benefits to Internet end users if done properly. In accordance with these beliefs, Epic Marketplace creates value for consumers, advertisers and publishers in revolutionary ways without compromising individual privacy.

If you prefer not to receive targeted advertisements delivered by Epic Marketplace, you can opt-out of our program, or opt-out from anonymous ad targeting by other NAI companies by clicking here. Please note that if you opt-out, Epic Marketplace will continue to collect anonymous information in connection with ad serving for limited reporting and auditing purposes. Examples of these include but are not limited to reporting overall advertising performance, geographic activity, and other similar analyses. Alternatively, you can choose to refuse cookies through your browser settings.

7. Children's Privacy

Epic Marketplace is very sensitive to the issue of children's privacy and makes every effort to protect the privacy of children using the Internet. Epic Marketplace's web site, products, and services are not developed for or directed at children under 13.

8. Changes to this Privacy Policy

Epic Marketplace may find it necessary or be legally obligated to update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post those changes on this page and update the effective date so that you are always aware of the information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we disclose it. For changes to this Privacy Policy that may be materially less restrictive on our use or disclosure of the personal information you have already provided to us, we will attempt to obtain your consent before implementing such revisions with respect to such information, or notify you either by placing a prominent notice on the home page of our web site or by directly sending you a notification. In the unlikely event of our bankruptcy, insolvency, reorganization, receivership, or assignment for the benefit of creditors, or the application of laws or equitable principles affecting creditors' rights generally, we may not be able to control how your Non-PII is treated, transferred, or used.
